The idyllic MuldentalThe visitation of the romanic ruin of the former monastery is a beautiful starting point for a hike through the vicinity. On idyllic hiking trails you will reach the monastery forest or you go along the hollow to the qauint village Großbothen via Schaddel. On your way you will pass a manually operated foot ferry. If required, the ferryman will bring you on call from Kloster Nimbschen over the hollow to the village Höfgen. This small village with the restored church or the technical interesting places „Schiffsmühle" and „Wassermühle" is worth visiting. You can continue your hike through the „Jutta-Park" to Kaditzsch or you go along the hollow to the municipal forest of Grimma. Over the suspension bridge you will get to the historic city of Grimma and after a little walking tour through the city you can round off your excursion/trip by taking the hollow-ship „Katharina von Bora" back to Nimbschen. » Images surrounding Kloster Nimbschen |
